Here are a few bits from recent days:
The moon was full last week. I know that it happens every 28 days or so, but every time it happens, it's my favorite. This time, I was sitting in the back yard for the better portion of the evening, peeping at the moon through trees and clouds.
We had a birthday party for Mindy. It was a small group of the best girls around. We roasted hot dogs around a fire and made s'mores. Also? The marshmallows for the s'mores were my homemade ones.
Let it be known that I have finally perfected that recipe. Let it also be known that my pants are a little snugger than they were before I perfected that recipe.
(Just kidding. But that made for a nicer transition...)
Consequently, today's lunch consisted almost entirely of tomatoes from my garden.
What's that? Oh. Why, yes. I did grow those tomatoes. Through three freezes and an abnormally wet winter that is giving way to a very warm, very dry spring. Ideal tomato-growing conditions? I think not. And it's been a record harvest.

Moons, marshmallows and tomatoes. All beautiful and worth bragging about. Those tomatoes especially.
Love the pictures! And great job on the tomatoes :)

Oh my, I'm still dreaming about those marshmallows. Thank you again, dear friend, for hosting our wonderful little shindig....I laughed until my face hurt (thanks to Christina and her smore shorts)!
