Poor Emma was in another spelling bee.
They really are things that she faces with dread.
Andrew's jazz band played a set on Saturday at the (sweltering) downtown ampitheater.
These days are busy as usual. I'm in the final month of this semester with a paper to write and finals and recitals to face.

And, oh, that little Emma nervously gripping her shorts in that top photo...I just wanna give her a huge hug! What a trouper for standing up and spelling her heart out. Joe & I are so very proud. :)
Oh, I know, right! It breaks my heart in two and makes it so proud all at once!
Awww, sweet Emma. She hates spelling bees but kicks butt at them. Gotta respect that.
