Actual snippet of dinner conversation at our table tonight:
Drew: Hey Dad! The way these two potato chips are placed on my plate makes them look like an Imperial Star Destroyer!
Dad: Cool!
DAILY BLISS: I got yarn in the mail! Of course, I did order it, so it wasn't completely unexpected.....but it was completely fun!

Ah... something fun in the mail. Still one of my favorite things. Always has been. My mom sends packages to the kids, but no one knows that I love opening them just as much or more than the kids do.
LOL! I can't wait until we introduce the boys to Star Wars.
So funny! My poor husband gets no "guy talk" in our all girl house.
Awwww, poor Trav! You can show him our guy talk if it'll help:) I absolutely love it. Drew is turning out to be exactly the kind of geek that I would have loved when I was in school. Oh wait - I should say exactly like the kind of geek I married! Which is only natural, I guess....I'm totally gone on my son - love him to utter pieces - Star Wars, Transformers and all!
Anything fun in the mail--expected or unexpected--is a thrill. I LOVE IT! This is why I'm a little disappointed about now having a post office box instead of a mail box.
