Not Sure

I've had a snippet of a Doobie Brothers song running around in my head today. I heard it on the radio this morning (how old-fashioned of me!) and haven't been able to get rid of it. Those boys have been mocking me, asking me all day long, "without love, where would you be right now?"
Hm. I don't really know.
But I won't let it bother me.
I'm going to find another earworm now.

DAILY BLISS: Seeing an old boyfriend's brother in a parking lot. I don't think he saw me. That was the blissful part.

See, that's one problem with living in your home town... you run into people that you'd rather not. I rarely see people from Polk County (or Alachua County or Volusia County) here in Chicago, unless I specifically invited them. :-)

Invitation-only. That's the way to do it. Otherwise, you're stuck running into people when you are dressed like a soccer mom (well, maybe not YOU....) and your makeup is sliding down your face at the end of a long, hot day.
At least that's always how it works for me.

It seems like I always run into old high school friends when I'm pregnant. I don't know if you've ever seen me pregnant but it's not something I can hide. I look 4 months pregnant before I know what's going on and it just continues from there. Regardless, this is not the time I want to be compared to my high school days.

Awwwww. If you'll take a moment to recall, I looked much worse than you do when I was pregnant. Take solace in that, friend. I pretty much hid in my home when I was with child because I still live here - where I went to school and church and where I was young and beautiful. Of course, I didn't know I was beautiful then. Now, I'm much more confident with what little I have left:)
