I'm just going to skip to the daily bliss today. There really isn't much else.
DAILY BLISS: teaching my son how to drift-and-bump on our morning walk today. Maybe I made that up? You know - nonchallantly drifting and bumping somebody hard while making it look like you were unaware of it all?

I have no idea what you are talking about. Please answer the following questions for those of us who are not wise in the ways of drifting and/or bumping:
1) In what context would one do either?
2)What necessitates combining the two?
Thank you.
Hm. Maybe I did make it up after all. You would use this move when you are walking along with someone, and perhaps there is a lull in the conversation. Whether out of malicious intent or just the need to do something to fill the empty space, one would "drift" closer and closer to the accompanying party, attempting to do so without being noticed. When close enough, you give a solid "bump," usually with the hip, in an attempt to knock the other person off course. Maybe even to knock them down if you were very good.
You can see, then, that combining the two, along with a good bit of stealth, allows you to knock somebody over. Or at least surprise them. Which is the fun of it. I suppose it's about proving that you're the king/queen of the world on some level.....
I see. I have done this before, but I was unaware that the move had a name. See, your blog is full of useful information!
